In February 2015 Stuart Pilkington launched the first Pilkington Prize with the competition 100 Mile Radius. He asked entrants to document the landscape within 100 miles of their current location/home using their unique voice. The deadline for the competition was 31st July 2015 and 218 photographers submitted their images by that date. This was the full brief. During August 2015 the following judges: Al Brydon, Al Palmer, Alastair Cook, Amy Wolff, Andrea Kurland, Andy Adams, Grant Scott, Ira Veles, Jonathan Blaustein, Ludmilla Morais, Marc Wilson, Stuart Pilkington and Willson Cummer judged the competition and chose a winning 50, a top ten and an overall winner. On 1st September 2015 Stuart was delighted to announce the winner of the competition as Jenny Riffle. Jenny wins 500, a one book publishing deal with Brown Owl Press, a copy of The Last Stand by Marc
Wilson, an interview with Huck Magazine and to be part of the permanent 100 Mile Radius project website. The top ten winners including Jenny were Aaron Claringbold, Kevin Hoth, Lane Coder, Michelle Waters,
Sandy Carson, Elizabeth Eiten, Matt Botwood, Janneke Aronson and Larry Schwarm. All top ten winners win an interview with Huck Magazine and to be part of the permanent 100 Mile Radius
